Empire State College, working with the Charitable Leadership Foundation, has created 15 online math and science courses designed specifically to engage adult students with contemporary topics in science, math, and technology. Students and learners of all ages will find the learning resources developed for these courses to be useful and interesting so we are providing public access to assemblages of course content and activities.
In addition to the course previews, found on the Featured Courses Menu, the Math, Science, and Technology menus lead to learning resources organized by area of study. To round things out we've put together links to some of the best resources for Educators who teach math and science and, if you've always wanted to do science rather than just learn about it, the Citizen Science menu lists a sampling of the growing number of research projects that engage motivated non-experts in active scientific research.
Look around, read and use the resources and, when you are ready to sign up for a course, visit www.esc.edu for complete information.
